Now more than ever the need for cancer research funding is vital. So many near and far have been touched by cancer.

Many of you know my Dad suffered from lung cancer and passed away in September of 2021. A few short months after that my Mom got the news her kidney cancer had returned.

In 2023 I crossed the finish line and almost immediately got a call that I didn’t realize would change things forever. My Mom fell. She hit her head and was admitted to back to the James. She was never the same, for days and off and on for weeks she’s didn’t even know who we were. She didn’t feed herself or walk again. It was simply heartbreaking. The cancer had finally won.

So today I’m making the commited to ride again this year. Because at this point the only thing I can do is to ride and raise money to find ways to prevent this terrible disease from impacting other and help advance the research to help fight it.

It’s up to us as a community to continue to fund ground-breaking research in order to not slow progress toward our One Goal.100% of every dollar you donate is invested in innovative cancer research, the brightest minds and ideas, and the tools and technology needed to change the future of cancer care. In just twelve years, the Pelotonia community has raised more than $209 million, but we aren’t stopping there. Please consider supporting me today by making a donation. Together, we can be legendary.
