This year marks my 14th year riding in Pelotonia.

I ride each year in honor of moms everywhere. No child should ever have to grow up without a mother’s love.

Eighteen years ago, my own mom was diagnosed with cancer. She fought it with incredible strength and courage, and we were fortunate that she survived. Sadly, many families are not as lucky.

That’s why I ride.

I ride for the mothers who are still fighting, for those we have lost, and for the children who deserve to grow up with their moms beside them. I ride for a future where families no longer have to hear the words “you have cancer.”

This ride is deeply personal to me. I ride for Tim, Mary, Denise, LeAnn, Crista, Kyle, Dan, Brenda, Grandpa Klein, Lisa, Matt, Donna, Randy, Quentin, Grandpa Smith, and my mom. I ride in honor of everyone who has been impacted by this disease.

And I ride especially for those who have lost their mothers to cancer — including my step-sister, Miranda.

Please consider supporting this mission and joining me on the journey toward a cancer-free world.

One Goal.
