In 2021, Mike Ray, was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer with metastases on the liver. He is also positive for Lynch Syndrome which makes him more susceptible to cancer later in life.

Since then, I've ridden every year to remember: my father, Doug Smith, my grandpa, Raymond Smith, my mother-in-law, Terri Minette-Ault, my Aunt Sharon Reveille, and grandpa Henry Minette who have passed away from Pancreatic cancer, Colon cancer, and multiple myeloma. I ride to support research to continue helping the survivors: Barry Minette, and Mike Ray, and others in any future fights they'll endure.

By supporting my fundraising goal, and my ride, we can help make this fight easier for so many people. Cancer knows no boundaries. Every year I wind up riding with more names in my heart who are undergoing treatments. The James Cancer center technology, trials, and research saved Mike's life long enough that he could get a transplant as an ultimate cure to the last of his mets. Thank you for anything you contribute as it provides people like Mike hope.
