Go here pelotonia.org/our-impact, but first please read my story below:

I am super excited to join my niece Sarah Moore Santangelo on Team VS, a group from the Victoria's Secret corporation who have ridden for many years.

I am surviving cancer because of research. Pelatonia funds cancer research, and I am grateful to all those who have supported that research through donations and volunteer efforts, either as riders, organizers, or event helpers.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma. 10 years ago survival rates for such cases were much, much lower. Now they are higher thanks to better understanding of the disease and treatments developed toward curing it.

My melanoma is the least common of all types: of an unknown origin. Most melanoma shows up on the skin. Mine showed up as solid, internal tumors. My team at the OSU James Comprehensive Cancer Center knew what to do.

I've had two surgeries, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and now daily dose pill form chemotherapy. My indicrine system has been severely altered but thanks to medication I enjoy a very normal life, normal enough to be able to ride for the first time in this year's Pelatonia.

Thank you for supporting Pelatonia through whatever donation amount you choose. If you would be willing to provide a matching amount, please contact me and I will use this encourage others to donate.
